is a native of Los Angeles, California. After earning her juris doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, she joined the firm of Koletsky, Mancini, Feldman & Morrow, where she was a litigation attorney for 16 years. She became a trial attorney, taking cases to trial that involved personal injuries, business disputes, construction defects, and premises liability.
After 16 years of litigation, Karen decided it was time for a change. Leaving her home in Los Angeles was not an easy decision, but the peaceful environment of the desert appealed to her, so she moved and opened her own practice.
Her practice now includes preparing trusts and wills, and powers of attorney. She still handles litigation matters, involving all kinds of disputes for her clients. Based on many years of litigating cases, her approach is to resolve disputes as quickly and easily as possible, preventing cases from dragging on, and keeping the cost to her client down. There is often no need to file a lawsuit when cases can be resolved with a few phone calls and letters. Karen’s belief is that her clients deserve her best efforts to resolve their cases, and if your matter can be resolved at minimal cost to you, Karen will find the way to do it.
Since moving to the desert, Karen has handled disputes involving HOAs and residents, businesses and vendors, and injured clients and property owners. All of these matters have been resolved without filing lawsuits and running up legal costs.
Consultations with Karen are always free.
